Introduction
 
Welcome to the exciting possibilties for you and your students that happen with Science Olympiad.  Science Olympiad is a National Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program that allows students to apply what they know in a competitive setting.  Arizona Science Olympiad Division B is for middle school students, grades 6 through 9.  We can offer you information on integration of STEM education in your science and math classroom as well as numerous opportunities for your students to practice and compete in the various Science Olympiad events.  Explore our site more and contact us for more information.  Join us in the possibilities as we EXPLORE THE WORLD OF SCIENCE.

  • Southern Regional Tournament

    Our Mother of Sorrows is pleased to present the February 9, 2013 Southern Regional Tournament hosted by St. Augustine High School.  Attached below is the competition schedule.  If you have one paid registration, you are allowed to have up to 2 squads compete. 

     

    Please send the following information to Reina Gomez reinagomez@cox.net

    1.  Number of squads in attendance

    2.  Count of students/parents

    3.  For events requiring sign-up, you may send me an email with your preferences.  I will confirm your spot if available.

     

    St. Augustine High School is located at 8800 E 22nd Street (a little over 2.5 miles east of Our Mother of Sorrows).

    As a reminder please have all competition paperwork in alphabetical order.  If competing in squads, each squad needs their own separate paperwork. 

     

    As always, no electronics are allowed in competition; plan on collecting cell phones, iPODS, etc, as part of your team check-in.   Teams with cell phones will be disqualified from competition.
